Going back to school!

I am going back to school! After spending some time as a student, messing around, then having to drop out, I will finally be back at school this fall. I will be taking a pre-calculus class to get back into the swing of things, and I think it will be interesting.

I am switching majors as well. I was a Music Education major with a focus in voice, and now that I work as a Web Programmer for KU, I have decided to go back and complete a Computer Science degree. All told, six of my credit hours will transfer directly to fulfill major requirements, and the rest will just count as electives. So I’ll be a freshman again!

I truly am excited, though. One of my major goals in life is to get a degree, and I have been less than thrilled that I never actually finished. I know that it will be a hell of a fight, between working full time and taking (at most) 2-3 classes per semester, but the end is in sight…
